Thought I’d do a quick post on my newest piece, just listed in my etsy shop.
Taos Garden feature a gorgeous Owyhee Jasper cabochon with a very southwest looking pattern. I embellished it with some handmade garden delights and richly colored citrine.

With the bloom of the flora and the song of the birds, I was inspired to make something ”Springy” but with a bit of rustic. I have had this milk glass cabochon for some time and love the way it looks with oxidized silver. I’m gonna make one of these for me too! This one is available in my Etsy Shop.

Of all the jewels I own, this one is the most special. It is a mother’s day present to myself, in honor of my mom and her mom, to be passed down to my daughter…
While going through some of my mother’s things (she died many years ago)I came across her sewing basket. I remember this one as it belonged to my grandmother.
As looked through the vintage buttons, most of them broken or in poor condition, I found a few very awesome glass domed buttons with a little metal loop on the back. I snipped the loop off and it was the perfect cabochon for this ring:
